Pika Palace
Pika Palace guide for use with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.
1. Catching pokemon
To catch a pokemon you need to use a pokeball. This can be obtained in a pokemart, The pokemon merchendise shop. There are different types of pokeball but In the pokemart of Sandgem town, The Pokemart only sells one type, The original pokeball. You must have a pokemon in your party thats moves will not KO the wild pokemon as soon as it’s encountered. Lower down the wild pokemons HP to yellow or red (Low yellow) and then hurl a pokeball. If it does not catch, Hurl a second Pokeball. If not, A third pokeball. If after three tries the Pokemon is not caught, Then give up you will not catch it.
2. Pokeballs
There are different types of pokeballs that work in different ways.
- Pokeballl: A normal and cheap pokeball
- Greatball Higher catch rate than a pokeball
- Ultraball: Higher catch rate than a greatball
- Healball: Heals caught pokemon when caught (If in your party).
- Quickball: Higher catch rate if used on the first turn
- Timerball: Catch rate strensthens the more turns used in battle
- Diveball: Catches water pokemon easily
- Netball: Catches water/Bug pokemon easily
- Duskball: Works well in caves
- Nestball: Works better on weaker pokemon
- Marshball: Used in the great marsh
